Looking for a truck driver capable of handling a Lead/tandem/gravel train at any given time of day. The driver we are looking for must be holding a current state of Michigan CDL CLASS A license and a valid manual endorsement. This is a Monday-Saturday job, with minimum 40 hours a week. You will be hauling landscape and construction materials within a 10 mile radius of our physical location - truck and fuel provided. Must be able to collect money, properly handle material and have a clean driving record. The position is seasonal and employment is available from March to November every year based on performance and results.
Pay starts at 24 an hour up to 36 depending on experience.
**RESPONSIBILITIES/DAILY PROCEDURES**

+ Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
+ Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer to identify maintenance issues or safety concerns daily.
+ Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage logs, inspection reports, and other required documentation.
+ Communicate effectively with the dispatch office and customers to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and resolve any issues promptly.
**QUALIFICATIONS**

+Valid CDL A license with a good driving record.
+Proven experience in commercial driving, including route driving and delivery operations.
+Familiarity with operating manual transmission trucks.
+Knowledge of safety protocols related to trucking operations and cargo securement standards.
+Ability to navigate using GPS or route maps efficiently while managing time effectively.
