I can run the machine, I just need one to use for a day.
Needs to be a big one, not one of the little compacts that only has about 1k bucket lift.
I had a 14k lb Case 580b that pulled out everything I wanted with relative ease just hooking up a chain and backing up.
Would like to find a machine that size to use for a day.
Anything about 12k lbs or bigger should work fine. And it doesn't really matter what the machine is or whether it has a bucket / backhoe, whatever, so long as it has a good manual trans and it's heavy is all that matters to just yank them out with logging chains.
4x4 nice but not necessary.
Had that machine for years so I have plenty of experience running them. Don't plan to go after anything real big, most are under about 4 inches still.
