I purchased this tractor and gambled to see if I could get the engine unstuck (It was sitting for 30+ years in a barn). I tried all the usual concoctions for about a year and a half with no luck. Using a pipe wrench on a hand crank, I was able to turn the engine about 4 revolutions before I broke the crank handle. I've done frame in rebuilds in similar situations with good luck.
I sold the starter to a friend. Otherwise this tractor is complete. It's rated at 56 hp, which is more than I need for a utility tractor so I decided to let someone else wrench on it. Sold-as is. All four tires hold air. Note one rear tire is in poor condition. Rear rims are the spin out variety, which I've seen sell for around $400 each in good condition. These rims have some damage next to the valve stem hole, so they need some repair. Totten Tire in Birch Run has repaired similar damage for me in the past for about $30/rim. Oil looked decent when I bought it (no grit, metal flakes, water). Radiator appears fine. Missing hood medallion. A copy of the repair manual will be included. Power steering/
I'm looking for about $1,900 cash/trade/partial trade. I'm interested in old US coins, gold and silver, other tractors or farm implements considered in any condition.
