This is a carving from Chesapeake Bay area carver Charles Jobes. It's signed and dated 2007. The distinctive green head, red bill, cream color throat and reddish-brown breast, multi-colored wings, gray underbody and black tail is a testament to the artist's understanding of the species and his attention to detail.
