Have you got an old mechanical clock sitting around not working? Put me to work! I am a retired physics teacher who has made an avocation of repairing clocks. I have fixed grandfather clocks, mantle clocks, wall clocks…if it’s mechanical (no batteries!), I can take a look at it.

Disclaimer: I do not run a clock repair shop, which will restore/replace (the movement) for $300-$400. I inspect, clean, and fix the immediate problem to get the clock running again. No fix, no cost. Rates are generally $50-$100 depending on type of clock. I will do grandfather (floor) clocks, removing the movement to take it home and clean it, then re-installing it.
